NDIA welcomes Joint Standing Committee progress report on NDIS

Posted on 12 November 2015

The National Disability Insurance Agency welcomes the Joint Standing Committee's second report on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The Joint Standing Committee plays an important role in gathering information and reporting on how the Scheme is working for people with disability, their families and carers, and providers.

This Agency has put in place an operating style which takes feedback from our stakeholders and then implements improvements to strengthen the Scheme.

The Agency's 'listen, learn, build, deliver' approach is helping build a Scheme that will deliver for future generations.

The Agency will consider the report closely and will respond accordingly to the recommendations in the report.

The Joint Standing Committee’s Second progress report on the implementation and administration of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is available on the Parliament of Australia website reports page (new window).
