Prices set for Queensland NDIS sites

Posted on 9 February 2016

The NDIA will use current New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania prices as an initial base for NDIS Queensland prices.

These prices will apply in the North Queensland early transition sites until 30 June 2016, at which point they may be adjusted. The remote price guide will apply in Palm Island. The remote or very remote price guide will apply for supports and services delivered to some participants in the Charters Towers local government area.

Around 1600 people are expected to be NDIS eligible in the early transition sites, with up to 600 expected to receive funded packages by 1 July 2016.

To deliver positive outcomes for NDIS participants, the NDIA sets some service prices. The NDIA takes into account market risk, such as service gaps, as providers move to a market-driven business model to operate under the NDIS. Visit the pricing and payments page for more information.
