We are pleased to share with you the results of our consultation on interventions for children on the autism spectrum.
In response to the NDIA’s request for feedback we received 448 unique online submissions.
With permission, we have published these submissions.
From the feedback we received, we have decided not to progress with indicative funding bands for children with autism as proposed in the consultation paper. Instead, we will continue to work with the disability community to understand emerging evidence and best practice interventions and what long term outcomes can be achieved through different models of support.
We will also consider the feedback as we continue to improve the way we support young children and their families.
