There are some important changes to our normal operating hours this festive season. NDIA offices will be closed from Wednesday 25 December 2019 to Wednesday 1 January 2020. We will re-open on Thursday 2 January 2020.
We are aware participants may have questions or need assistance during this period so we have arrangements in place to provide support where required.
If you have any questions or feel you may need support from your local office during the festive holiday period, we encourage you to contact your local office in advance for further information.
The information below outlines how you can contact us over the festive season.
NDIA National Contact Centre – 1800 800 110
The National Contact Centre (NCC) can be contacted from 8am to 8pm (local time) throughout the holidays on 1800 800 110. Contact Centre staff will respond to questions where possible and refer your query on if required.
The NCC will also operate on the main public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day), in order to assist participants where required.
Most sites will close at 5pm on Tuesday 24 December 2018 and will re-open at 9am Thursday 2 January 2019.
If you call your local office, or the Agency, during the reduced activity period the phone will either divert to the National Contact Centre 1800 number or provide you with an alternative point of contact.
Scheduled payment runs
During this festive season, NDIS payments will be processed as follows:
- Periodic transport payments scheduled for Thursday 26 December 2019 and Thursday 9 January 2020 will be paid as normal.
- For payment requests submitted between Tuesday 24 December 2019 and Friday 27 December 2019 please expect to receive payment from Monday 30 December 2019.
- For payment requests submitted on Tuesday 31 December 2019 and Wednesday 1 January 2020 please expect to receive payment from Friday 3 January 2020.
