Join us in celebrating International Day of People with Disability on December 3.
This video showcases the impact we can all have when we ‘see me’ - see people for who they are and the things they can do.
IDPwD aims to increase awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. It’s a day to celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability.
We encourage you to consider what you can do to ensure people with disability are included in work opportunities and the community. Not only today, but every day.
We are pleased to share with you Australia's Disability Strategy 2021-2031 which has been released by the Australian Government to mark IDPWD.
The Strategy will drive change over the next decade to uphold the rights, inclusion and participation of people with disability in all areas of Australian life.
Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031 is now available on the Australian Government’s new Disability Gateway website, including in Easy Read and Auslan.
Read more about our research and strategies for social inclusion, community access and employment using the links under Resources.
We can work together to see all abilities and create an inclusive Australia.
To help celebrate the day you can download the IDPwD pack below including a social media pack, poster, virtual meeting background and email signature block.
