Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Stuart Robert, today officially opened the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) Victorian office, alongside Federal Member for Chisholm, Ms Gladys Liu. Minister Robert said the establishment of the NDIS Commission is vital to ensure we protect the right of NDIS participants to receive safe and quality services along with the integrity of the Scheme.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Autism Advisory Group (AAG) met on 1 August 2019 to discuss the implementation of the recently announced Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) remediation plan to resolve delays and backlogs for children with disability in accessing supports. David Tune AO PSM has been appointed to conduct a review of NDIS legislation and rules, which in turn will inform the development of the Morrison Government’s promised NDIS Participant Service Guarantee. Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Stuart Robert, said the review of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 will focus on streamlining NDIS processes.
