Scammers are currently targeting providers with a malicious ‘phishing’ email. Recent phishing emails falsely use the name of NDIA Chief Executive Officer, Martin Hoffman and request providers to update their details. Providers in WA now have more time to transition to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission). The WA Department of Communities Disability Services Provider Panel re-opened registration on 1 July 2020 and will continue to accept new applications until tender closure date, 18 September 2020, 5pm AWST.

From 1 July 2020, providers operating in Western Australia (WA) are required to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission), instead of the NDIA.
