The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced the initial pilot of the new National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant pathway will commence in mid-December in two NDIS regions in Victoria.

Community organisations are being invited to partner with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) and/or Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services in a number of service areas across the Northern Territory, Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.

Four local service providers will share in $85 million of funding to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) and Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services in Victoria to support the rollout of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) from 2017.
