The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Disability Reform Council (the Council) met by telepresence today, Wednesday 18 March 2020. The meeting discussed a national response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, particularly its potential impact on people with disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). A 45-year-old Bundaberg woman has been charged by the NDIS Fraud Taskforce with an offence of allegedly defrauding the Scheme of close to $109,000 while operating as a service provider.
