The NDIA is releasing a new consultation paper focused on supporting NDIS participants to have more control over how and where they live.

Work starts today to better support NDIS participants to take control of the decisions that impact them. The NDIA today released a consultation paper on improving decision making support for participants.

All NDIS participants aged 16 years and over and carers aged 16 years and over of NDIS participants of any age are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine from Tuesday, 8 June.

The Australian Government is establishing dedicated vaccination hubs in key locations to provide additional safe and accessible locations for NDIS participants in Phase 1 to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. NDIS disability workers and primary carers of people with disability will also be able to access the hubs.

The Australian Government is committed to ensuring the safety of NDIS participants during the current COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria.

Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC has today released a paper outlining how NDIS participants could be supported with the proposal of more flexible NDIS plans in the future.
