2016-2017 NDIA Annual Report now available
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has published its 2016-17 Annual Report, which provides a comprehensive overview of the Agency and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the first year of full Scheme rollout.
It is the NDIA’s fourth Annual Report and details progress in building and operating the full rollout of the NDIS following the three year trial.
The report highlights the achievements and challenges of the year, as well as the growth opportunities ahead to improve the experience of the NDIS for participants and providers.
NDIA Chief Executive Officer Robert De Luca said the report looks back at the significant body of work which has occurred over the last 12 months to improve outcomes for people with disability, their families and carers.
“I believe in the purpose of the NDIS – to improve the independence, economic and social outcomes for people with disability, their families and carers, and in turn make Australia a better place,” Mr De Luca said.
