Changes to provider registration in NSW and SA

Providers in NSW and SA need to be aware of changes to registration processes under the new NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) from 1 July 2018.

Providers' existing registration details for NSW and SA will automatically transfer from the NDIA to the NDIS Commission from 1 July 2018.

Only completed registration applications that have been approved by the NDIA before 1 July 2018 will be transferred and recognised by the NDIS Commission.

If you are currently applying for registration in these states, you should complete all registration requirements as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for the NDIA to finalise your registration request. If your application is not completed or approved, you will need to begin a new registration application with the NDIS Commission.

Alternatively, you may wish to wait until after 1 July 2018 to submit your registration application to the NDIS Commission.
