There are a number of supports and services provided by government and the community sector for people with disability across Australia. The NDIA may identify that your supports are best delivered by these other service systems. This page provides a list of organisations who can help with support, both nationally and in different states and territories.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has concluded the SDA Pricing Review 2022-23 which evaluated the impact of current SDA prices on the supply and demand of SDA housing, and set new benchmark SDA prices for the next five years.

A participant’s support needs may change and sometimes, this will mean they need a lower level of support.

We are here to help participants and nominees use their NDIS funds lawfully. We want to help you do the right thing. When choosing what supports you want to buy with your NDIS funds, you have a range of rights and responsibilities.

The NDIA protects the NDIS from fraud and non-compliance that results in the misuse of NDIS funds. Our goal is to safeguard NDIS funds for participants so that the NDIS is there for Australians with disability when they need it.

We have published our evaluation of the thin market trials. The evaluation was finalised in December 2022 and covers the period of each trial’s implementation up to September 2022.

During the first few years of the NDIS, states and territories will continue to fund and provide student transport. If your state or territory has approved your access to student transport then you will continue to use this service. You don’t need to use your NDIS plan funds to pay for it.
