Service bookings are used to set aside funding for an NDIS registered provider for a support they will deliver. Service bookings are not the same as service agreements. More information about editing a service booking.

Before the NDIS was established, state/territory and Commonwealth governments paid providers to deliver supports to people with disabilities. Some services are still being paid for directly by these governments. NDIS participants can continue to use these supports. These pre-paid supports are called 'in-kind'.
