Participation in the National Disability Insurance Scheme has doubled since last December while costs remain well on track according to the NDIS third Quarterly Monitoring Report, released today.
The public should be aware of a potential scam involving people who claim to be from the National Disability Insurance Agency attempting to defraud National Disability Insurance Scheme participants by telephone.
The National Disability Insurance Agency has zero tolerance for fraud against the NDIS and its participants. At no stage has the NDIA agreed that the Agency’s tolerance level for fraud was 10 per cent. Any suggestion to the contrary is wrong. The NDIA’s publicly available Fraud Strategy Statement clearly outlines the Agency’s position.
