We want to thank Dr Stephen Duckett AM for his detailed consideration, and thank everyone who engaged with Dr Duckett in his conduct of an independent review into music and art therapy supports.
The NDIA has now received the final report and will consider its recommendations in the development of operational guidance for NDIA decision-makers and in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
The updated operational guidance will be published in the coming months. Dr Duckett’s report will also be published in full alongside the Agency’s response and updated guidance.
We will publish an accessible version of the full report, our response to the report, and key information in Easy Read and Auslan.
Until the new operational guidance is published later this year there are no changes to the status of music and art therapy as NDIS supports.
