The deadline dates for registration requests for specialist registration groups, full assessment groups and streamlined registration groups in Vic, Qld, Tas, ACT and the NT has now passed.
If a provider did not apply for registration in specialist, full assessment and/or streamlined registration groups before their state or territory deadline date, the NDIA will be unable to finalise the provider’s application.
The NDIA has been advised by state and territory governments that they set deadline dates for new registrations to allow for the length of time required to assess registration applications against their quality and safeguard requirements.
Providers wishing to apply for impacted registration groups will need to begin a new application with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (external link) .
Providers are reminded the NDIS Commission will not begin accepting applications for registration of providers in Vic, Qld, Tas, ACT and the NT until 1 July 2019.
If you have recently received a State Approval certificate, please upload a copy of it through the myplace provider portal, and advise the NDIA to progress the review of your application.
Providers in Vic, Qld, Tas, ACT and the NT wishing to apply for registration groups not requiring state approval can still apply for registration through the myplace provider portal.
If you have any questions, please call the NDIS National Call Centre on 1800 800 110.
