NDIS Partners in the Community Program Tender

The Australian Government has committed to bringing forward a planned independent review of the design, operations and sustainability of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including the Partners in the Community (PITC) program.

With this in consideration, and after consultation with Government and stakeholders, the NDIA has terminated the PITC program Request for Tender to ensure the future PITC program is consistent with the findings of the review and is considered in line with broader consultations.

The NDIA will revisit the PITC program design in line with the Review’s recommendations, outcomes from current co-design initiatives and community consultation to meet the evolving needs of participants, customers, families and carers.

The Agency remains committed to the continuation of early childhood and local area coordination services. Current arrangements with partners, and the funded supports in participant plans, remain in place and there are no changes to the NDIS’s current operations.

The NDIA thanks all tenderers for their submissions to the PITC program Request for Tender and acknowledges the time, commitment and preparation involved.
