NDIA price setting
The NDIA explained its work to establish a new Pricing Reference Group to review and make recommendations on all decisions relating to price control arrangements under the Scheme. The NDIA also provided an update on the implementation of recommendations from the Independent Price Review.
Complex Support Needs Pathway
The NDIA presented an overview of the design of the Complex Support Needs Participant Pathway, including the rationale for its development, key elements in the pathway, and next steps.
NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
The Commissioner of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, Graeme Head, provided an overview of the early work in establishing the Commission.
Self-Management and priorities in evidence-based practice
The NDIA led a discussion about the implementation of self-management in the UK, which is an established, evidence-based approach, and how this approach is being developed under the NDIS.
