The report gives a summary of the NDIA’s performance and operations for the 2021-22 financial year.
In the past year, we welcomed more than 60,000 new participants to the Scheme. As at 30 June 2022, 534,655 people with disability across Australia are receiving support, with 300,000 of these participants receiving disability-related supports for the very first time.
The Agency has continued to respond to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic. A key priority in 2021–22 was to remove barriers to COVID-19 vaccination for participants.
