The National Disability Insurance Agency invites participants, parents, carers, legal guardians, nominees and other decision makers to attend an information session about Assistive Technology. Information provided at this session will cover the different risk categories for Assistive Technology; processes for getting Assistive Technology funding and paying providers for Low, Mid and High Cost categories; when to seek advice from an advisor or an assessor to obtain the assessment required; and how urgent repairs are funded. PACE will eventually replace the NDIA’s current computer system. We want to make sure National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers are ready to support participants when NDIS plans start to be created on the PACE system later this year.
