Consultation for the 2025-26 Annual Pricing Review has closed 

The consultation for this year’s Annual Pricing Review closed on 8 February 2026.

Your feedback will help inform the Annual Pricing Review recommendations which will be released soon.

The NDIA will continue to work closely with participants, their families and carers, providers and the broader disability community.

We will publish a consultation report with key themes of the feedback we received, and how this feedback informed the recommendations in our 2025-26 Annual Pricing Review Report. 

PAPL updates – in effect 24 November 2025

We have updated the Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and supporting documents as part of our regular process to keep our pricing and guidance up to date and in line with policy. 

We listened to feedback from participants and providers who asked for earlier notice on updates to pricing.

These changes will come into effect on 24 November 2025.

Key changes include: 

  • Change to the price limit for Art Therapists and Music Therapists as recommended by the Independent Review of Art and Music Therapies.
  • Updates to the guidance for claiming of ‘Other Professional’ support items to align with recommendations of the Independent Review of Art and Music Therapies.
  • Removal of the COVID Addendum and related support items.
  • Implementation of the most recent Department of Health, Disability and Ageing updates to the Modified Monash Model classifications.
  • Updates to the Specialist Disability Accommodation calculator as part of the annual process to index Specialist Disability Accommodation pricing following updates to the Disability Support Pension indexation.
  • Updates to the Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits and the Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables Code Guide to ensure alignment with the NDIS Supports List, including:
    • Creating, modifying and deleting support items in the Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables Code Guide.
    • Updating the descriptions of Community Social and Recreational Activities, Innovative Community Participation and Community Participation Activities items in the Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits.

SDA updates – announced 30 June 2025

The NDIS Pricing Arrangements for Specialist Disability Accommodation 2025-26 has been released.

These prices are effective from 1 July 2025.

PAPL updates – announced 16 June 2025

The updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (PAPL) 2025-26 has been published, following the release of the 2024-25 Annual Pricing Review recommendations.

The pricing updates come into effect on 1 July 2025. The NDIA has made further PAPL updates, in addition to the APR recommendations.  

Changing the early childhood age limit from 7 to 9 years old.

The early childhood approach now covers children up to 9 years old. This change is shown in the PAPL.

New text added to explain provider responsibilities and conflicts of interest.

This explains a provider’s duty to declare and manage any conflict of interest.

APR updates – announced 11 June 2025

Today, the NDIA released the outcomes of the 2024-25 Annual Price Review.

The NDIA is committed to implementing a range of reforms to help shape an NDIS marketplace that is fair, equitable and sustainable. 

The 2024-25 APR is laying the groundwork for the NDIS marketplace of the future.
