Supported independent living (SIL) is a type of NDIS support to help you live as independently as possible. It is not SIL if you only need a few hours of support a day or week, or if you choose and manage your own support workers through directing, planning and rostering your own supports.

When you become a participant your NDIS supports will be delivered to you by a provider.

Providers are responsible for acting fairly while delivering services to NDIS participants.
