The refreshed continence provider list is now available on the NDIS website. The continence provider list – a collation of NDIS registered providers, and their service offerings – helps participants, their families and carers to find trusted information on continence products. The list is an additional resource to help with finding and comparing continence products and providers.

Three people have been jailed in New South Wales for their roles in a multimillion-dollar defrauding of the NDIS, in a week NDIS Minister, the Hon. Bill Shorten MP announced further measures to crackdown on rorts. The sentencing is the result of an investigation into several suspected fraudulent providers in western Sydney. The investigation, led by the Australian Federal Police in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), AUSTRAC and Services Australia, uncovered more than $5.8 million in fraud during the thorough investigation. Two other men were sentenced to imprisonment in 2022 as part of the investigation.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has published the NDIA Position Statement Conflicts of Interest in the NDIS Provider Market . From May to July 2024, the NDIA met with participants, providers, and disability organisations to understand experiences people have had with conflicts of interest and what resources would help support them to manage the conflicts. Following the co-design sessions, the NDIA developed the Position Statement, information and resources to support and educate participants and providers on conflicts of interest in the NDIS provider market.
