The NDIA has updated our public data, now current as at 30 June 2024.

This statement provides an update on a data breach that occurred in November 2023, and the NDIA's response to date. It does not relate to a new or different event.

We’re aware of some issues affecting my NDIS app, my NDIS participant portal and my NDIS provider portal.

We have now fixed the issue which had impacted single and bulk claims.

The Independent Pricing Committee (the Committee) will review the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing approaches and recommend changes designed to lead to a higher quality and sustainable disability provider market.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) would like to inform National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, their families and carers and NDIS providers on work undertaken to identify, disclose and manage conflicts of interest in the NDIS provider market.

There is an upcoming planned multi-system outage. Planned outages allow us to update and improve our systems.

Key Insights: Current eligibility reassessment communications are problematic for people with permanent disability, for example Down Syndrome, and are causing significant trauma for participants and families. Concern the Agency is sending participants eligibility reassessment letters when their case is sitting before the Administrative Review Tribunal. Concern participants are not receiving the initial communication asking for evidence as part of their eligibility reassessment. Participants will now have more time to get information to us. We have extended the timeframe for participants to provide additional information to support eligibility reassessments from 28 to 90 days.
