Funding of $2.8 million will be provided to assist the Queensland disability sector prepare for Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) grant funding under the NDIS in 2019-20.
From October 2019, a new option for the funding and supply of nominated AT supports between $1,500 to $5,000 was introduced. This funding option is limited to nine new general AT items and will only be funded if itemised as a reasonable and necessary item within a participant’s NDIS plan.

For participants in regional, rural and remote areas of South Australia, DHS is planning to cease delivery of in-kind support coordination by June 2020.
