Why the NDIA?
We’re different to other APS agencies. The NDIA is continually evolving, which means:
- our work and our teams continue to expand so we have a wide range of roles open across different functions in various locations
- we want people with fresh ideas and enthusiasm to work towards our commitment
- you will get the opportunity and platform to flex your creativity and make positive changes.
Your work also has impact. Everything we do in the Agency works towards improving the NDIS.
Graduate program
Join the NDIA Graduate Program and make a real difference in the lives of Australians with disability.
If you’re passionate about social inclusion and diversity, our Graduate Program is for you.
What we look for in our graduates
We also encourage people with disability, people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual, Sistergirl, Brotherboy Plus (LGBTIQASB+) people to apply.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entry level programs
We aim to boost job opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. One way we do this is through our entry level programs.
Internship Program with the NDIA
The Internship Program - Australian Network on Disability offers practical paid work experience for students or recent graduates with a disability.
At the NDIA, we are proud supporters of this program each year and look forward to welcoming a strong cohort of students to join us over the summer period.
The internship is for a maximum of 152 hours of paid employment, as APS2 employees.
Our participation in this program provides the students with meaningful work experiences. More importantly, it allows managers and supervisors at the NDIA to develop their skills in supporting staff with disability and become disability confident.
