Pathways into the Agency

Why the NDIA?

We’re different to other APS agencies. We’re the new kids on the block.

Our Agency is not even 10 years old! This means you get to flex new ideas and be creative in shaping how our Agency works.

Your work also has impact. Everything we do in the Agency works towards a better NDIS.

Graduate program

Join the NDIA Graduate Program and make a real difference in the lives of Australians with disability.

If you’re passionate about social inclusion and diversity, our Graduate Program is for you.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entry level programs

We aim to boost job opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. One way we do this is through our entry level programs.

Stepping Into Summer Internship Program with the NDIA

Australian Network on Disability (AND) is now inviting applications for Stepping Into Summer 2022-23 program!

The Stepping Into Internship Program - Australian Network on Disability offers practical paid work experience for students or recent graduates with a disability.

At the NDIA, we are proud supporters of this program each year and look forward to welcoming a strong cohort of students to join us over the summer period.

The internship is for a maximum of 152 hours of paid employment, as APS2 employees.

Our participation in this program provides the students with meaningful work experiences. More importantly, it allows managers and supervisors at the NDIA to develop their skills in supporting staff with disability and become disability confident.

To check eligibility please visit the AND website - Stepping Into Intern FAQs.
