Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entry level programs

We aim to boost job opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. One way we do this is through our entry level programs.

Indigenous Australian Government Development Program (IAGDP)

The Indigenous Australian Government Development Program (IAGDP) is a 15-month entry level program, run by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment

The program combines ongoing employment with structured learning. It leads to a Diploma of Government.

These include:

  • Study at a Diploma level, with a range of specialisations offered
  • Workplace and personal support from the IAGDP team and trainers

  • Competitive salary, superannuation and working conditions.

If you’re interested, you can visit the IAGDP website and find out more.
