I have now been in the role of CEO for over 5 months, and during this time the Agency has made progress addressing both the challenges and opportunities faced during the Transition period. However, there is a significant amount of work still to do, and I do not underestimate the scale and importance of the task ahead.

This is a summary of the Participant Reference Group’s (PRG) recent meeting. The PRG consists of 23 participant and carer representatives across Australia. The PRG is a key platform to ensure the participant voice is heard and understood by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The NDIA met with Disability Representative and Carer Organisations (DRCOs) and Independent Advisory Council (IAC) members as part of the Reforms for Outcomes (RFO) co-design program to support the delivery of the Federal Government’s 2023-24 budget initiatives.

The NDIA is designing and building a new ICT business system. We have named this system PACE. PACE will eventually replace the current business system, portal and payment systems.
