We have improved webchat, a ‘live chat’ service on our website you can use to talk with staff at the NDIS. NDIS staff can help participants with their personal circumstances once they have verified their identity, just like when you call us.

The latest NDIS data is now available on the new-look NDIS Data and Insights website.

Enhancements have been made to the myplace provider portal, including: the ability for registered providers to submit payment enquiries through the myplace provider portal improvements to the Request for Service (RFS) process for registered Support Coordinators.

The Board overseeing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be expanded from 1 January 2017 to ensure it has the disability service, financial management, corporate governance and insurance-based expertise needed to guide the $22 billion scheme through its critical three year expansion to 2019-20.

The Government is committed to ensuring the well-being of Australians with disability are considered as the coronavirus pandemic unfolds. As such, an advisory group has been established by the Federal Government to guide development and implementation of a response plan focusing on the unique health needs of people with disability during the coronavirus pandemic.
