People with severe and persistent mental health issues will have improved access and support in the NDIS, the Federal Government has announced today.

The deadline dates for registration requests for specialist registration groups, full assessment groups and streamlined registration groups in Vic, Qld, Tas, ACT and the NT has now passed.

Updates have been made to the Registered Providers Operational Guideline to provide additional information regarding the transition of the provider registration function from the NDIA to the NDIS Commission. These updates reflect the implementation of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) and its role in the registration of NDIS providers.
