The NDIA has recently published an update to the “Access to the NDIS” Operational Guideline to include new information regarding Western Australian Defined Programs.
Defined programs are disability programs that generally have disability requirements equivalent to the NDIS. Where a prospective participant is a client of one of the defined programs listed in the Operational Guideline, the NDIA will generally be satisfied that the person meets the disability requirements.
