The Board of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced that it has accepted, with regret, the resignation of CEO Mr Martin Hoffman, effective 2 July 2022.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants will have better access to safe supports following the completion of the Annual Pricing Review.

Earlier this year, the Australian Parliament passed changes to the NDIS legislation to improve the Scheme.

As part of the 2021-22 Annual Pricing Review, the Agency committed to making up to an extra $514 million available to eligible registered providers.

The Hobart, Tasmania NDIA office will reopen from Tuesday, 19 October 2021.

Eligible NDIS providers in New South Wales and the Northern Territory will join those in Victoria in being able to claim a one-off payment from the NDIA for support workers to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.

Eligible NDIS providers in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Western Australia (WA) will join those in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Victoria in being able to claim a one-off payment from the NDIA for support workers to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.

The Chatswood, NSW NDIA office has been temporarily closed due to a burst water pipe at the site.
