Assistive technology ranges from the simple to the complex. You may need the help of an AT assessor to determine the right AT solution for your needs.

Personal care is one of the disability-related supports students get at school. It forms part of the adjustments schools provide to personalise learning and support for students with disability. If you are at a government school, your state or territory government pays for the support and it is delivered by your school.

To ensure you can access urgent assistive technology (AT) repairs, even without funding in your plan, the NDIS Contact Centre can authorise funds over the phone. If you have approved funding for AT supports in your plan, repairs and maintenance of AT is also included as part of your budget. The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way some supports can be delivered, with technology enabling support continuity through telehealth, video conferencing and other technologies.

As a provider of early childhood intervention support it’s important you provide families and carers of children younger than 7 who are NDIS participants, an annual provider report.

Since 1 October 2019, participants have been able to purchase some disability-related health supports using NDIS funding. We have grouped the typical available supports into eight ‘support type’ categories. This is not an exhaustive list. What is a compensation reduction amount (CRA) and why do I need an estimate?
